My recent ceramic work represents both an inquiry and a synthesis. Since the 1990s I have pursued scholarly research, produced artistic works, and published regularly in the field of design semantics. Over time, as I also taught in this discipline, I have developed a profound understanding of the expressive potential of colour and shape. In my current practice this expertise is channelled through intuitive expression. Each piece is the result of a deliberate yet emotionally resonant design process. I strive to achieve a meaningful interplay between shape and colour.
If you are interested in any of the sculptures, I welcome your enquiries and am pleased to provide further information.
